So I'm sitting on the computer on an uneventful evening wondering what to write about. So much has happened and yet I can't quite remember all of it. :P I know, silly me.

Today was beautiful. I mean, it was cold, so the weather wasn't beautiful. But the day was beautiful minus the weather. (: Worshiping each week with my Church family is something that I love to do - & something that I look forward to each week. It's a blessing that I try not to take for granted.

Reformation Day was a smashing success! I hope everyone else was as blessed by the sessions, music and the fellowship as I was!! I will say, though, that it was slightly exhausting, and that the day after the last of our company left some of us slept in...pretty late. ;) But we LOVED having the Chapa family & Christa, Daniel & Joshua come stay with us! We had a blast talking, laughing, feasting, watching Doctor Who & singing in the car. (:

So, I got a surprise phone call from a special person this week! :) It was nice to hear from him after so long with just letters - something about hearing a person's voice is so much better then writing. (Though I'm not a big fan of talking on the phone...there are some exceptions I guess. ;)) Anyway, that was definitely a highlight of the week. (:

I've decided to start reading, "The Family: God's Weapon for Victory" by Robert Andrews...haven't started it yet but am definitely planning to soon in case y'all were interested. ;)

I'm getting *very* excited about Thanksgiving this year! I'm not really sure why (besides the obvious reasons. ;D) but just something about it has got me thrilled! Maybe I'm just loathe to admit that despite my hatred of cold, the holidays in winter are my favorites? Well, and July 4th. :)

So here's a question for y'all, readers! What 3 things are going to be at the top of your "I'm thankful for..." list this Thanksgiving?

So I'm going to stop now. This blog post is extremely rambly, probably due to the fact that I'm slightly tired after a long week. :P

Anyway, have a wonderful Thanksgiving, peoples! :)

Lovely post, m'dear. Sometimes it's fun to read what other people have rambled about. So don't worry about it. ;)

Hmm... my 3 things would be:

1) My brother asking to court my bestest friend. <3

2) My family and the joy they bring me every day even when I am going through a difficult time. <3

3) And my church family, cause no one is as amazing and close knit as us. <3

Looove you, Jess! <3

Great post, Jessica! I love to read what you write! :)

Reformation Day was a smashing success! It was sooo great to see everyone again!

Top on my Thanksgiving list:

1 - God's Word... we can read it and find something new every time!

2 - Family and friends which make life so much sweeter!

3 - Memories! I've had so many wonderful ones and I cannot wait to make new ones!

Miss you! And so sad that you can't make it up for the DIY Messiah! :( :( :( Maybe we can get together in January sometime because Liberty Day is waaaaay too long to wait to see you!!

*hugs*
Tara

I love your rambling!

My top 3 Thanksgiving blessings:

1.) My family and friends, who love me no matter what and have supported me through thick and thin

2.) For many opportunities that God brought me, ones that I never would have imagined I would have the courage to do.

3.) And that in another year of growth...God has never given up on me!

Sometimes rambling is the only way to clear your mind...trust me, I get it from Ben and give it back to him! :) So ramble on, dahlin! It's nice to hear what you've been doing, thinking...and what you haven't been doing! :D

Golly day...only three?!?!? Let' see...

1. I am SO thankful (more and more each day) for being the one who wakes up to the most wonderful person in the world...yeah, maybe I'm biased! ;) Honestly, as each day passes, our hearts grow closer together and I am so thankful for that. That song "And I Thought I Loved You Then" is too true... :)

2. I am sooooo grateful for my amazing family...the one who put up with me for so many years and who shaped who I am today...and for my wonderful new family, my in-laws.

3. And last (but not least!), I am deeply grateful, humbled and so honored to be the mother of this baby. Feeling her little movements, looking at her adorable little face on the ultrasound pictures and waiting (almost impatiently!) for her first day in God's world makes me realize what a privilege this is...yes, I am blessed beyond measure...and if life gets any better than this, I don't know if I can handle it!

Love you, m'dear...and miss you like the Dickens!

Meli...I have to say I'm thankful for those things as well!!! (: Love you more, chica!!! <3

Tara, Thank you! I'm trying to be better at posting. I think being off of FB actually helps! :)
Those are definitely some things I'm thankful for as well! I wish we could make it to the Messiah too. :( Seriously!! I really, really wish we could go. Sing-It-Yourself Messiah has always pretty much been the highlight of my Christmas. Ah well. :( Yes! hopefully we can get together sooner then LD!!! **big hugs** <3

Ella, Mhmmm...those are on the top of my list too!! I'll be writing you soon, by the way! I've almost got my Christmas shopping done and the rush of the transition from THanksgiving to Christmas season is about over! Love you!

Tiff, that was put beautifully. :) You are certainly blessed! I love you and
