The Real Blogger Award

I apologize for this post being sooo late. I was tagged sometime ago. But here is the post! :-)

I would like to thank Ella for awarding me with the Marie Antoinette Real Blogger award! I feel so honored and so humbled to have received this! Thank you very much, Ella! I wish I could award you in return!
Here are the blogs I award for the "real" blogger award:

My Mother
Mrs. Davis
Mrs. Pickle

I have also been awarded by The Editrix! Thank you very much! I am so honored to receive this!!

"THE LEMONADE AWARD: The concept behind this award is that the blog creators have shown an uncanny knack for silver linings and making the best of bad situations (i.e., lemonade from lemons)."

Rules: Name ten blogs that reflect this silver linings philosophy.

I award the following blogs:

The Hector Family

Joyfully At Home

Lazy D Ranch

Proverbs 31 Maiden

Life In the Country

Three Things Very Dull Indeed

My Point of View

The Same Anonymous Dude

All Because of Grace

Daniel and Christa Blanchard

A new post should be coming up pretty quickly after this, all about the Sing-It-Yourself Messiah, Candlelight Service Practice, etc.

Merry Christmas!

In Christ Alone, Jessica

So, I seem vaguely silly asking this, but....

What's the Marie Antoinette blog award? Given that her most notable achievements included a statement about baking and losing her head at an inconvenient moment, I'm not sure how that connects to blogging.

Apparently I'm missing something.

(I've now lost all my cool points.)

Nice one, Seth

Thanks for the award! I see it as kinda ironic, considering my posts lately have consisted of me trying desperatley to find a silver lining, and failing miserably... But I do better in person. :)

Congratulations on the Real Blogger award, Jessica!

P.S.--Have you checked your U2U inbox on the Sense and Sensibility forums lately? ;-)

Ella, You are so very welcome! I too wish we could meet in person!! That would be perfectly wonderful. Are you planning on visiting Illinois anytime soon? :-) Really, if you ever are let me know!!

Jasmine, You're very welcome! If ever I need to find silver linings, yours is definitely one of the blogs that I go to!

Jo, Thank you very much!!

Brooke, Thank you as well!! <3

Mr. Ben Ezra, Tsk Tsk. The statement that came from Marie's own lips was this, "Let them eat cake". Now what is NOT real about that? Hm? :-D hehe. Cake is a very real object as was Marie! :-D LOL! I don't think anyone's really sure why it's called the "Marie Antoinette REAL Blogger Award". I suppose some random person in blogdom came up with the name. Makes for a pretty award picture though! *grin*

Jeremy, You know, when I saw your last post with the demotivator poster about silver linings, I just couldn't help myself. LOL! Really, though, people that know you read between the lines and see that you find humor in even bad situations. That's a "lemonade" attribute! :-D And you even find something good about taking everything off of a poor helpless violin...LOL

Editirix, Thank you! No, I haven't. Hehe. I probably should go do that sometime after your insightful wink. *grin* I will do it as soon as I can. I just don't get on the S&S site very often!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

In Christ Alone, Jessica
