Memories...

Today I was going through some of the junk in my room and I came upon something. It was a small book, not very thick, with Laura the Carrot (from Veggie Tales) on the front of it. I opened the book and on the inside it said "From James Miller to Jessica McDonald on my birthday, October 22, 1998. I was eight years old. I opened it and poured over the extremely funny, and innocent entries from my childhood. I brought the book downstairs and showed my parents. We all laughed over it. Then Melissa came up with a brilliant suggestion.
"Why don't you put some of the entries up on your blog?"
Light bulb! "What a great idea, Melissa!"
So here I am at the computer digging through my old diary and typing up some entries.

Enjoy!! ;)

WARNING: Don't worry, I CAN spell correctly at age 15... no, that is the real spelling from my diary, and I think that it makes what I wrote then even more funny, so I thought I'd leave it.

OH! I'm still laughing! :D

Well, I'd better go, it's getting late.
TTFN!!!

LOL. Yeah, we used to do some crazy things together. :D Melissa just reminded me today of us chasing Hannah Andes around the yard calling her a 'false prophet' LOL. And remember herding the goats and sitting in that tree? Then after I saw bugs in it I wouldn't go back up...lol.
Sometimes I wish I could be little again. *sigh*

I am sorry for not commenting in ages, and, therefore, I beg your forgiveness. However, I do read your blog more of less regularly, if that makes you feel any better. You were rather philosophical in your diary, 'Mellissa was really grumpy, James was being very mean' and so on. Also the eight year old you is remarkably similar to the 15 old you. They both have the same, shall we say, happy go lucky attitude. You and Mellissa are something else, partners in crime, playing, and fighting. There are some things money can't buy... I don't know what your problem is with spelling. My idea has always been if they get the message than it's good 'nough. When Mellissa got her hair stuck in a brush, did ya'll subject her to stuff like butter, water, and peanut butter? That's what we did when Mikalya did the same thing, but in the end we had to cut it as well.

Josh, 'were suffering'? ha ha

If you want to make God laugh tell him your plans.

LOL. Too true...Melissa and I did do everything together. *sigh* we still do (well, almost everything.), but the things we do now differ greatly from the things that we did when we were 8 and 11. :D
No, we didn't try anything but scissors...I can't remember why, but I bet (well, I hope) there was a good reason...
